Frequently Asked Questions

  • Am I suitable for Invisalign?

Most patients looking to improve the appearance of their smiles are suitable for Invisalign treatment. It is very successful for mild to moderate issues, including overcrowding, misalignment, and gaps. At your initial consultation, we will be able to advise if Invisalign is the best treatment for you.
  • How long do I need to wear the aligners for each day?

You need to wear your aligners for around 22 hours a day in order for your treatment to be most effective. You can take them out for eating, drinking, and to brush your teeth, but should not have them out of your mouth for too long to avoid disrupting your treatment.
  • How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment length varies, but most Invisalign treatment journeys are completed in 9-18 months. Straightforward cases have a faster treatment time, whilst patients needing more complex straightening can expect to wear their aligners for longer. We will advise you of your expected treatment time after your initial consultation.
  • Are the aligners comfortable?

Yes, the aligners are custom made and designed with comfort in mind. We use accurate scans to ensure a secure and precise fit and have no metal brackets or wires present to irritate your mouth.
  • Will I need to wear retainers after my treatment?

Yes, you will need to wear retainers to keep your teeth in their new positions following your Invisalign treatment. Teeth have a habit of moving out of place, so you will need to wear retainers on a part time basis (usually overnight) for as long as you wish your teeth to stay straight. You will be given fixed or removable retainers.

Spread the Cost of Invisalign

We understand that achieving a straighter smile with Invisalign can be an investment. To make it more affordable, we're happy to offer financing options with 0% interest. This means you won't pay any extra charges on top of the treatment cost.

Even better, monthly payments can start as low as £100. This allows you to spread the cost of your Invisalign treatment over a longer period, making it easier to fit into your budget.
